"MRS. JULIA BLUNDELL - After a lingering and painful illness, Mrs. Julia Blundell died at the home of her son-in-law, J. E. Shinn, in Lockhart Wednesday night at ten o’clock. She was at the time of her death more than fifty-three years of age.
Burial will take place at McMahan Cemetery at three o’clock Thursday afternoon. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J. G. Forester.
Mrs. Blundell was the relict of W. C. Blundell who died in this county many years ago.
She was of a lovable Christian character and had been a member of the Methodist Church more than thirty years.
Mrs. Blundell is survived by six children, Will and Ed Blundell and Mrs. Boze Wells all of Caldwell County, Mrs. Lama Riddles of Austin and James Blundell of Smithville. All of her children were at her bedside when she died.
To the sorrowing relatives and friends, the Post extends heartfelt sympathy."
