Siblings: Francis Katherine "Kate" Nite Whaley (1887-1954), Lucy Nite (1889- ), John Calvin "Babe" Nite (1892-1972), Sarah Almarie "Sallie" Nite (1894-1971), Caleb Edward "Bud" Nite (1895-1957), Polly Nite Dodson (1900-1975), Willie Mae Nite (1902-1965), Penelope "Neppie" Nite Bell (1904-1988)
Family moved to Oklahoma when he was 15 years old. Married Lela Dodson there on October 29, 1918. Joined the Primitive Baptist Church at Marlow, Ok in Aug. 1931. Moved to McMahan, Texas in January 1938 and joined Tinneys Creek Church. Ordained to full work of the ministry on May 7, 1938. Served Tinneys Creek Church as Pastor for 20 years, Bethel Church 20 years, New Providence Church from June 1938 until it dissolved in March 1967. - taken from "Biographical History of Primitive or Old School Baptist Ministers, Vol. II", edited by Elders David Montgomery and Mark Green, 2001
