Died 2/1/1925 in Dale, TX
"Mr. W. F. White died at his home about 14 miles northeast of Lockhart Sunday morning at 3:35 o’clock.
Mr. White has been in failing health for about four months, but had been confined to his bed the past two weeks. We were very sorry to hear of his death. He was a good, honest man, a good Christian, and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed very much in his community. All of his children were by his bedside to see him draw his last breath, except Milbern who came a short while after his fathers death.
Mr. White is survived by three sons and four daughters and three brothers and two sisters.
The children are Mr. S. F. White, Luling; Mr. G. G. White, Somerset; Mr. W. M. White, San Antonio; Mrs. J. M. Hickman, Gonzales; Mrs. O. S. Guthrie, Lockhart; Mrs. J. H. White and Mrs. Norman Tinney of this community.
the brothers are Mr. George White of Smiley, Mr. John White of Karnes City, Mr. Fred White, Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Sarah Reed of this community, Mrs. Beckie Perry of Austin. He is also survived by twenty-six grand children and six great grand children.
Mr. White was born in Fayette county, Alabama, January 14, 1853. He moved to Texas with his father and settled in Guadalupe, coming to Caldwell county in 1867.
He was married in Nov. 1875 to Miss Elizabeth Jeffrey who survives him.
He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
The funeral at Jeffrey Grave Yard was attended by an immense throng of people. - A FRIEND"
