"Loyd Baker Dead (From Monday’s Daily) - Loyd Baker died at the Lockhart Sanatarium (sic) at fifteen minutes after eight o’clock this morning.
The funeral will be held from his home, the old W. P. Baker residence north of the High School tomorrow afternoon at half past twelve o’clock.
Interment will be made in Jeffrey grave yard at Mcmahan about two o’clock.
Mr. Baker was about thirty years of age, a son of Jerry Baker of Bishop, Texas.
He is survived by a widow and two children. Also his parents, five brothers and a sister.
Mr. Baker until a few weeks ago was employed at the John P. Horner gin.
He was an industrious, honest young man, esteemed by all who knew him."
