Abraham Roberts was an early settler of Lockhart, Caldwell Co., TX, between 1828 - 1841. Abraham and brother Alexander were members of Capt. Matthew Caldwell’s early Texas Rangers, ca. 1839.
Abraham Roberts married in 1828, 1st Cynthia Jeffrey, daughter of Jeremiah Jeffrey and Sarah Bishop. Married 2nd, Lucinda Powers Ellison in 1853. Married 3rd, widow Delores Beeson.
