"Mrs. Edna Ridgway wife of Thomas Ridgway died at their home at Charlotte, Texas, Wednesday August 18th, at eight o’clock p.m.
Mrs. Ridgway was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Moore of Buda and the body was prepared for burial and taken to the home of the parents.
On Friday the body was brought by motor hearse to Jeffrey grave yard near McMahan and laid to rest.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. [sic] Joseph Newman of Stockdale.
Mrs. Ridgway’s death is one of peculiar sadness. She was only twenty years of age and had been married only a few months.
Mrs. Ridgway is survived by her husband, her parents and many other relatives, nearly all of whom live in Caldwell County.
The bereaved family have the sympathy of friends everywhere."
