"ANTHONY CADELL BROWNING - Son of Alfred and Nancy Browning; born July 7, 1875 in Kerr County. Departed this life January 3, 1947, at Austin, Texas after only a few hours illness. Deceased leaves a wife, Mrs. Beulah Browning, of Austin, Texas, and a daughter, Mrs. Lena Frank of Creswell, Oregon. The body was taken to Cook‘s Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at McMahan Cemetery, the Rev. [sic] Marion West officiating. He was a member of the Primitive Batist Church and spent most of his life in Caldwell county near Lockhart.
He is missed by loved ones and friends. Our loss is his eternal gain. He cannot come to us but we can go to him."
