"Eva McGee - Eva McGee, the 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A McGee, died after several week’s illness at her home near McMahan, Monday, December 29, of typhoid fever. Dr. Alexander, the attending physician, worked faithful to the end but ‘twas all in vain. The remains were laid to rest in the Jeffrey cemetery at 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Elder John Baker.
She is survived by her father, mother, six brothers and four sisters. Eva was a dutiful and obedient young lady and loved by every one who knew her. The community is greatly bereaved over the loss of the deceased one. The family has the sympathy of her many friends. A Friend."
