Joline was a longtime resident of Caldwell County. She worked as a bookkeeper with her husband for many years at Lawler BookkeepingService.
She had been a faithful member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church of Joliet, TX, most of her life. She currently was a member of the Reagan Wells Baptist Church in Uvalde County, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lillie Reed; her brother, Desmond Reed; and her husband, Preston; all of Lockhart, Texas. She joined her husband in Heaven on their 75th Wedding Anniversary.
Joline is survived by one son, David and wife Elaine of Bastrop, and one daughter, Kay and husband Rick Smith of Reagan Wells; five grandchildren: Kenny Lawler; Jana Robertson and husband Chad; Weston Smith and wife Jennifer; Kristen Smith; Justin Smith and wife Leslie; and five great-grandchildren: Dustin, Laura, Hope, Preston, and Micah.
