"Mrs. Richard Cole died at her home in McMahan Friday night and was buried in Jeffrey Grave Yard Saturday afternoon.
Religious services were conducted by Elder Harvey Ball of San Antonio, a minister of the Primitive Baptist church, of which deceased was a member.....
Mrs. Cole, whose maiden name was Sullie Jeffrey, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jeffrey of McMahan. She is survived by her husband, Elder Richard Cole, a daughter, Mrs. Dan Alexander of Dale, and a son Leonard Cole of McMahan.
She is also survived by her parents, sisters, Mesdames R. W. Ellis, J.W. Galloway, Louis Vanhorn; brothers W. C. Jeffrey, Calvin Jeffrey, and Robert Jeffrey of McMahan; Frank and Rufus Jeffrey, of Port Arthur...."
